The Masked Singer isn’t even hiding the fact that season 8 is on another level! Right from the start, we have a new format with double eliminations every week, 22 contestants total, and TWO trios. In past seasons, trios have been revealed eventually throughout the season. Not in season 8! Things are getting real.
One of those trios is the Lambs, three super cute, precious costumed singers. But there could be some powerful vocals behind that sheepish appearance (see what we did there?). And there are definitely three secret celebrities. So who could it be? Let’s get into it!

Clues on The Masked Singer Season 8
Only one clue was given for the Lambs ahead of the season premiere! On The Masked Singer’s Instagram, we saw a mask-ray, which showed a milk bottle underneath the costume. Then, as they walked on stage, we got a clue that they “can’t let go.”
In their first appearance clues, they mentioned they “grew up with Miss Piggy and each other!” In fact, they’ve been “Beverly Hills besties” since day one. We see one of the Men in Black in a Scottish tam o’shanter hat cleaning a golf ball. They said they were “quite the troop” and “loved playing pretend.” Their dream turned into a “massive career” both on stage and on screen.
One of the Men in Black holds up a pair of jeans with “FAMOUS” written on the backside, then we see a “VENICE” sign. They claimed that they’ve “traveled the world, graced billboards, and grazed countless red carpets.” A big diamond ring is shown sparkling on the screen. More Men in Black in tam o’shanters are shown eating popcorn as one of the Lambs golfs a hole-in-one. “Not many people can say they lived out their childhood dreams with their besties, but we can,” one of them comments.
After their performance, Miss Piggy asked who the biggest celebrity they’ve ever worked with is and they said Paul McCartney.
Popular Guesses for The Masked Singer Lambs
Ken guessed that the Lambs were the Kardashians, much to the disagreement of the other panelists. Nicole argued that they could sing and thought they might be the band HAIM. Robin was getting country music vibes and predicted The Chicks.
One of the most prevalent guesses we’ve seen online is The Chicks, who are famous for their “Got Milk?” ad. Other online predictions include Wilson Phillips and Thriii (formerly known as 3mcclaingirls, McClain Sisters, and McClain) made up of the three McClain sisters. But one thing is for sure! No one agrees with Ken that this could be the Kardashians.

Who are the Lambs on The Masked Singer?
Looking at all the clues and hearing those voices, we have a good idea of who the Lambs are! Our prediction is…
Wilson Phillips!
Those voices, the clues…it all lines up perfectly! Now I’ll explain exactly how.
The first clue as they walked on stage, that they “can’t let go,” is an obvious nod to their most popular hit song, “Hold On.” They mentioned growing up with each other and Wilson Phillips did just that in the 70’s and 80’s. There were also a few clues pointing to LA, including them calling themselves “Beverly Hills besties” and the Venice sign, and Wilson Phillips is from LA. Their success “on the stage and on screen” is mentioned a few times and Wilson Phillips has found success on both! Aside from the obvious Bridesmaids, which was referenced with a diamond ring, Carnie Wilson had her own talk show called Carnie! in the 1990’s and Chynna Phillips appeared in Caddyshack II, which explains the golf clues.
A number of clues point to their background and famous families. One of those includes the “FAMOUS” jeans, pointing to their famous parents who were in the Beach Boys and the Mamas & the Papas. We also saw a Scottish tam o’shanter hat, which alludes to Brian Wilson’s Scottish heritage. Working with Paul McCartney fits too, because the trio contributed backup vocals to “FourFiveSeconds” by Paul McCartney and Rihanna.
And they’re moving on to next week’s competition! But will they make it to the Semi-finals to compete against the Harp? And is our prediction even right? Let us know what you think in the comments and we’ll find out next week on The Masked Singer!
