Zendaya did something interesting on her Instagram account this week. The actress unfollowed everyone she had been following on Instagram. That even includes her boyfriend, actor Tom Holland. It’s not clear why she made the decision.

Zendaya Unfollows Everyone on Instagram

Zendaya has an Instagram following of 184 million people. However, right now her following list is down to zero. She’s not even following Tom Holland, her Spider-Man co-star whom she’s been dating for several years now.

The star didn’t share why she chose to purge her following list. However, at the moment, she seems to be focused on promoting her acting projects. Her bio includes the April 26 release date of her upcoming movie Challengers. She also tagged the accounts for Dune, Euphoria, and Spider-Man.

Earlier this week, Zendaya also shared a poster for Challengers, which co-stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist. In addition to sharing the release date, she wrote in the caption, “Wishing you all the most beautiful new year.” Before that, her most recent post was from last October.

In 2021, Zendaya opened up to People about how social media can make her feel anxious, admitting that she “would start to overthink a little too much” when she was on it. She added, “[My fans] want me to … be happy and exist beyond social media.”

“Take the time that you need,” she advised people who might be feeling similarly about platforms such as Instagram, “and don’t compare yourself to anyone else.”

In addition to Challengers, the actress is also set to reprise her role as Rue Bennet in the third season of HBO’s Euphoria next year. She’ll also appear as Chani in Dune: Part Two, which is set to be released in theaters on March 1.
